As something like an average of 1800 or so runners complete this urban trail run, the Brass Messengers will play a joyous and sometimes raucous but at all times running-appropriate sound and celebratory while the fine runners run the run.

After the stage dies down, Brass takes over the street and close out the evening for an unplugged party with the Infiammati Fire Circus.

On Saturday July 14th kind folks of Mahtowa are throwin a hootenanny! The Holy Hootenanners curate this annual festival of roots music at Salem's Mahtowa Hall and have a great lineup scheduled. We'll join the stage with the Holy Hootenanners themselves, Billy Southern, Jacob Mahon, Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank, Nathan Frazer and the AM Band, Mama's Stolen Horses and the Langertsons. Just a short 2 hours from the Twin Cities and 35 min south of Duluth, it's a perfect spot for a grand old time. Brass Messengers will play at 6 PM.

Saturday Jul;y 7th will be the Walker's "Dog Days of Summer" for Free First Saturday

Believe it or not, the Brass Messengers will be dressed as dogs, for a dog parade around the sculpture garden, and performing a set at the stage. We'll be joining Mil's Trills for this one, and looking forward to a beautiful day on the sculpture garden for Walker's First Free Saturday!

The Brass Messengers return to one of their favorite annual celebrations -- the Humane Society's WALK FOR ANIMALS!

An annual fundraiser for the Animal Humane Society with tons of festivities, foods and entertainments for animals and people of all ages and walks of life!

Bring your dancing shoes for the Brass Messengers, playing joyful noises for all creatures great and small, and don't forget to bring your animal of choice!

The second annual and even bigger, better musical fundraiser Band Blast, sponsored by the Sokol Minnesota and Czech & Slovak School Twin Cities. Rocket Appliances return to open the evening with their Americana set, followed by The Houdeks playing eclectic mix of swing and waltzes. Next in the line up is Boiled in Lead, rock/world-music band, called the most important folk-rock band to appear since the 1970s! And Brass Messengers will close the evening with a gusto that only they know how. They play anything that fits into twisted brass tubing: inspired originals, sing-a-longs and covers from around the globe. Christopher Yeager returns once again to be the emcee of the evening, not to mention he’ll also teach us a dance or two. But there is more! Sing-a-longs, raffle, trivia, surprise door prizes and contests for young and old. And of course refreshments available for purchase plus a cash bar (naturally)! A $10 admission donation is suggested. Door opens at 7pm. Bring your family, bring your friends! This Good Friday, March 30th, the Brass Messengers return in solidarity with Planned Parenthood

(From PP): Every year on Good Friday, thousands of anti-Planned Parenthood protesters descend on the Planned Parenthood clinic at Vandalia Street in St. Paul. They can have their protest. We’re going to have a rally. This is your chance to show up, speak up, and stand up for the patients that count on Planned Parenthood. Join Planned Parenthood supporters beginning at 10 a.m. to stand in solidarity and celebration as we proudly show the world that Planned Parenthood is here for good.
