3rd Annual Czech Hall Fundraiser BAND BLAST!

From Czech hall website: Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. for our 3rd annual musical fundraiser, sponsored by Czech and Slovak Sokol Minnesota and Czech & Slovak School Twin Cities!

Pavel Jany (a native Czech) with Talking Strings will open the evening – our Czech-Slovak tie. Then, Jim Steinworth, master of interactive rock-n-roll comedy, will follow on the main floor. Be ready to get involved, pick the songs, clap along, and sing along! Dust off your dance shoes for the next surprise; The Bad Companions is a Minneapolis band with a set list as long as your arm of Rockabilly, R&B, Country, and Blues. And once again, The Brass Messengers, a Minneapolis/Saint Paul band of ten musicians playing anything that fits into twisted brass tubing, will close out the night. Do you remember how much fun we had last year with them?

We have more! Silent auction, trivia, surprise door prizes. Christopher Yeager will emcee the evening and teach a dance or two. Come hungry and thirsty! We will have the best goulash in town, including other refreshments for purchase, plus a cash bar with Czech beer and wine. All this for $10 suggested admission donation.

331 CLUB SPRINGTIME PARTY

It is being spring, almost. We think. We like to party, and particularly at 331 this Saturday April 6th. This is such a good time. If you come, we will personally guarantee all remaining ice and snow melts by Sunday morning. Actually we can’t do that. But a bucket of hot water could.

The fierce and long winter has given us a fierce desire to play. We will bring out our best tunes, or maybe all of them. New and old, dust off the party classics and have a raucous time as it tends to be at this nice corner spot.

We’ll see you fine people there!
